#MOTIVATIONMONDAYS

"How do you manage to stay consistent with your videos and blog posts?" "How is your house always so clean?" "Seriously, how do you do it all?" "When do you find the time to do all this?"

Recently I've been getting a lot of questions about how I manage to stay organized and set the tone for a productive week. Believe it or not, my answer is very simple. I start with a list and a clean space. A list ensures that I remember to do it all between being a creator, building an online community, and mom life. A clean space inspires me to be more productive. More productivity means I'm able to produce the content my community wants to see. This is my simple recipe for success.

I understand that not everyone juggles the same things that I do on a daily basis but I strongly believe my foundation is relatable to anyone. Personally, I'm a pen and paper list type of girl, but you don't have to be. In fact, there are times when I write a list and then follow up by taking a picture of the list so when life happens, my list is secure. I've fallen victim one too many times where my awesome lists have gone missing like the rogue socks in the dryer. I know for sure I'm not alone on that one!

Now let's move on to the clean space bit. Having a clean space is vital to boost my productivity. This means I'm always tackling some sort of cleaning. I'm convinced cleaning may be as therapeutic as crafting, exercising, chocolate, or actually seeing a therapist. But not everyone shares the same love of cleaning as I do (or my love of chocolate). To be honest, it's not so much the cleaning bit that drives me but more so the sense of completion and clarity afterwards. It's being able to see the product of my efforts almost instantly. It's being able to tunnel in on one task as opposed to trying to do it all at once. It's finding a way to work smarter. This is how you successfully multitask: you focus on one until you finish it all. Often misunderstood as, start with everything to try and do it all.

On the other hand, some people operate best in a messy space and that's fine too. Sometimes, I can be like that so I totally get it. If you happen to be one of those people I'd encourage you to check out some of my cleaning/organization videos because sometimes watching someone else do the cleaning/organizing makes you feel like you've done a bit of it yourself. Don't worry, I won't judge!

Shameless plug in 3...2...1!

I started this new series on my YouTube channel called Motivation Mondays where I post cleaning/organization related content, on Mondays, to inspire others to get things done. A good start to the week yeilds a productive week. I've linked a couple of my videos from this series below for you to check out. I promise, it won't disappoint and it is very satisfying! How do I know this you might ask? Currently, it's my most poplular playlist being watched so let the cleaning/organizing inspo continue! I've been using the hashtag #MOTIVATIONMONDAYS to share this series on my social media platforms which makes it so much fun to keep track of. Honestly, hashtags are simply amazing!

Now back to our regularly scheduled blog...

Last but not least, I manage to get everything done by creating a schedule. I try to set the tone for each week by producing content on Mondays (hence the need for a schedule). The teenager me would roll her eyes at the thought of sticking to a schedule. But the adult me is so thankful that schedules are my holy grail. I honestly don't know what my life would be like if I didn't have my lists and my schedules. Now that I've dedicated an entire post to my most frequently asked questions, it's my turn to return the favour by asking you guys some questions. What is your holy grail when it comes to getting things done? How do you manage to juggle staying on top of all that you do? What inspires you to get things done? Leave your answers in the comments below. The suspense is killing me!
